Why.

No official from the Justice Department or the Special Counsel's office has ever uttered a word regarding any particular law they are "after".

The only mention of the IIPA has been speculative press reports, started by David Corn, right here: http://www.thenation.com/blogs/capitalgames?bid=3&pid=823 , on 07/16/2003 at 4:13pm

Since you do not approve of speculation in this case (after all "we know nothing"), how have you come into the knowledge that Fitzgerald is in fact persuing a violation of that law, and not (e.g.) Espionage or some other statute?

Is the IIPA really the only applicable law that could fit the facts as WE, the public, know them?
