Dan Wallach had spent about 45 minutes talking about how insecure the machines were, then Doug Jones talked about how to fix them.

Then we submitted questions on index cards and Wallach, Klein and Jones answered them.

Denis' question was: Given your discussion on security, do you think it's healthy or wise to store touchscreen machines in stair wells and/or car trunks as reported by a Georgia elections supervisor?

Dan Wallach (in a deadpan) replied: Well....uh....hummm.....NO! This is NOT good.

The room cracked up.
