5. I was listening to Enid Goldstein...
when she was talking about the shrub. She commented that the governor's position in Texas is a somewhat weaker governor than in other states. She went on to say that this afforded him plenty of time to play computer games and work out.

I don't know much about his term as governor. but I do recall it being said that he was one of those guys who liked nothing on his desk and who delegated most everything he could. Sort of fits Enid's assessment.

In case anyone wants to check out Enid's program on streaming audio, it's out of one of our Denver stations - same one as B.O'R. Her airs right after him. http://www.knrcradio.com/hostsgoldstein.asp Sometimes I think she's not as informed as I'd like her to be. But she sounds like a Liberal through and through. A rarity in Denver radio and refreshing.
