And I think they're still gnashing their teeth in the West Wing over the stupidity of that maneuver.

Maybe if Clueless repeats his "bring 'em on" speech more forcefully, they'll be frightened into submission.

I'll bet that Bush and his neo-con handlers are pushing very hard against Powell and State to have a military "crackdown". This, of course, would end in disaster, but this is a crowd who prefers to shoot their way out of any perceived problem. And that's one of the reasons this war was started in the first place. They thought they could go and kick some butt and make the world before the might of the US. Pride goeth before the fall, and dilrod doesn't understand the first thing about guerilla warfare. He thinks that a war against an idea (terrorism) can be won with military force, so I'm sure he thinks he can prevail against guerrilas who are angered to the depths of their souls.

I wonder how many Game Boy's have been smashed against the Oval Office walls in the last 24 hours.
