4. It's EXACTLY like Viet Nam
(well, except for the jungle part*). It's another country that we had no business entering in the first place, the locals resent (to put it mildly) our being there and we can't tell the Good Guys from the Bad Guys.

What first tipped me off to the fact that Iraq is another Viet Nam? When the Regime took pains to point out to us that "this is not another Viet Nam." Same old 1968 logic in the hands of 1968 Chickenhawks.
