25. they send him to Crawford
Edited on Thu Oct-30-03 08:24 PM by Marianne
when he embarrasses them. He knows he is merely a dumb puppet of the guy behind the curtain. He realizes by now that he is not making any decisions but is being blamed for all the screw ups. Well too bad--you ran for president, you stole it, you are incompetant and a total failure and now you must be accountable--oh you run off to Crawford? Not surprised--you have shown your propensity toward cowardice all of your life.

I think that he loves to go to Crawford--where he can probably hit the personal, well stocked, booze cabinet to his heart's delight and no one will be the wiser--wink wink. Others will speak for him during this time, and protect his "image". It is a retreat to get out of the limelight-let others take over and then full tilt ,hit the booze.

Where is his cherished lump? Is she also being shunted away? Well, not much of a choice for her--she goes where he goes or where she is told to go. She is also seeking solice in something. Perhaps she also hits the booze cabinet-- in her case, I would not blame her.
