When I was 8, I set my grandmother straight at a big family function when she used the "N" word. All my relatives were stunned into silence for several minutes. It's been downhill ever since... I don't know where it even came from. Maybe I was the one who was adopted.

I think what happened is that I got my mitts on a book of George Bernard Shaw plays - was absolutely enthralled and temporarily turned into a Socialist for a few years. So people - if you want to really get to someone - just leave a volume of George Bernard Shaw plays laying around. It worked for me...
