and should serve as a roll model for other people who abuse their spouses and want to stop.

As is so often the case I am of two minds on this situation. Part of me thinks he deserves some credit for getting help and that because of that the fans were out of line.

But another part of me wishes all spouse-abusers would face that kind of public humiliation. Though I'm realistic enough to know that the fans taunting the player in this case were likely not making a statement about their real feelings on spousal abuse.

It's too complicated and it's making my brain hurt. :)
