3. Okay, my turn
An odd grab bag of facts.

1. My parents taught me to read before I started school.
2. I was a fanatic fan of the Mickey Mouse Club, so much so that I refused to come to the dinner table.
3. I was ten years old before I met someone who wasn't either Lutheran or Catholic.
4. I read all the James Bond books during ninth grade science class.
5. Until I took a gym class in college, I thought that people were born either physically fit or physically unfit, and that there was nothing you could do to change it.
6. Three of my graduate school friends became published science fiction writers.
7. My maternal grandfather deserted two armies: the Imperial Russian Army and the French Foreign Legion. He ended up as a high school teacher in Minneapolis.
8. I have a history of being the woman that men date just before finding the love of their life.
9. I had long hair until 1999. Then, one day, it was just "time" to cut it.
10. I don't like most fruits (except for apples and blueberries) and have to force myself to eat them for health's sake.
