it took me a long time to forgive David Fincher for that attempted mind fuck -

If I know gwyneth Paltrow is in jeopardy then Brad Pitt should know Gwyneth Paltrow is in jeopardy - and for his character to be so completely clueless that her head ends up in a box is nothing but the filmmakers pulling a cheap trick
