and like the French attitude reflected in the treatment of their actresses. They're not relegated to the trash heap once they turn 40 or put on a little weight or get a few wrinkles. They're treasured for their talents, regardless of their looks or age. Cases in point: Simone Signoret, Catherine Deneuve, Jeannie Moreau, and some current ones such as Nathalie Baye, Juliette Binoche, Jacqueline Bisset, and Isabel Huppert. There was a marvelous interview on Inside the Actor's Studio with Jeanne Moreau, who had such wonderful, intelligent insights on love and life. Many American actresses are just self-promoting bimbos compared to these women.
