9. James Booker's version of "Goodnight Irene" is one of the greatest
things I've ever heard in my life...seek it out if you don't have it on CD.

Having lived in the Vieux Carre for five years, I gotta say the best Norlins music I heard came from the dozens of prepubescent brass and drum bands I used to see in Jackson Square...Those kids were AMAZING!!! I usedta take days off from work just to catch them in action.
