28. How about a poem I wrote when I was fourteen...
I gazed into the valley low
and wondered how it feels to go
where birds sing gaily in the trees,
the feeling I will never know.

Oh how I long to feel the ease
of the cool but gentle breeze,
instead I try to ponder out
the answer to these mysteries.

I often feel I live in drought
because I have to live without
what other people have; but doubt,
My thirst shall ever be quenched out.
