Every sperm is different, and every sperm's DNA is random!
The strongest swimmers often get the worst directions, and die while going in tiny circles.
And those who swim strongly in one direction, usually end up head-butting the uterine wall over and over...
The sperm who actually reaches the egg has a special combination of endurance and whimsy...he swims like a champ, but gladly changes direction every time he bumps into something, while his stronger brethren keep butting the wall!
Millions of sperm DIE with a purpose; but a few who don't care just keep on keepin' on, and eventually stumble across a fertile EGG...
And once they burrow into that egg, about 1 in 3 are lucky enough to implant into the wall of the womb and start growing into a fetus...
