unknowingly, since I never cared about this type of stuff before 1994 or so, when the pro-choice issue slapped me hard in the face. But I know most of the guys have been pretty liberal (I dated mostly musicians and artists for a long time- growing up in Austin, it was easy).

I finally started voting Democrat about 9 years ago, and from then on, it became much more important to me in a mate.

When I posted my profile for the internet personals site where reprehensor and I met, I specifically stated how opposed I was to Republicans, cowboys, uber religious types, and anyone out to impress me with their wealth, car, or possessions.

It worked!
