49. Fruitopia came before Bertie
And her mother died and she and Del Palmer broke up and Bertie showed up and she got stalked - the girl's had a few rough years. And she still managed "The Red Shoes" - her weakest album but the old magic was still there. She shines brightly on Big Stripey Lie, Constellation of the Heart, and Lily. I think Song of Solomon shows the first steps in a new and exciting direction for her. How many people can make a bad album and still demand a following? KaTe can.

Anyway the studio has been renovated, and lots of reliable cool musicians have said they worked on the new CD and have rave reviews about it. So I'll give it the benefit of the doubt..... but even if she never records another album... she's still put herself among the gods.

Khash.
