48. You're right. Point well-taken. |

With us, we were blessed with my daughter when she was 2 (she was placed with us then). She was strong-willed, and that's what saved her life (she hid under a bed, crying, until help came - long story).
However ... we did spend some time getting through a rather healthy tantruming stage. Like I said, we became experts at picking her up and transporting to a place in which she could just tantrum-out. Lucky for me, they had built a staircase down to my laundry room, and it was in the middle of solid rock (surrounded by it) - so neighbors would not be disturbed. We fixed it up so that it was comfortable and safe. We would just put her down there, on the landing, with cushioned walls, and just tell her that behavior was unacceptable ... then we'd give her a hug and kiss when she stopped. I'm proud of her today; she has the best temper-control now around. But boy did it take work! So, I try not to be judgmental.
Take care!
