7. There was a time when Rolls Royce wouldn't allow that.
They used to decide who could own their cars, and they would "fine" owners who let their Rolls' fall into disrepair, because it was a poor reflection on the company.

Rolls had a fit when John Lennon and other rockers started to have psychedelic paintjobs applied to their cars...

The Kray Brothers weren't allowed to buy Rolls Royces from the manufacturer, because of their reputations as thugs... they had to buy theirs through another person.
