there isn't really a metrosexual community. They seem to be scattered among members of various groups; they may have a good number of sloppy-dressing friends. My best friend from high school was a metrosexual for his time. We'd pick on him sometimes about it, but he always had better luck with the women than any of us did, so I guess he had his reasons for dressing prissy.

I don't go for it personally, mainly 'cause I don't care about following fashion and thus don't keep up with it. Plus, I like wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and having long hair which all seem to be taboo to metros. I'm not a homophobe, though, and I have no problem with straight guys dressing "nice" even if it's not my thing.
