My wife's sister and her husband are visiting. They're hardcore fundamentalists. At their wedding last summer, he stood up *at the reception* and preached for twenty minutes. A lot of his little talk had to do with how a woman should be subject to her husband. I know I said it before, but *this was at the reception.*
Now she's pregnant, of course. At least my wife and I will get to be the evil aunt and uncle.
Anyway, they're here for a couple more days. They don't drink or curse, so I'm wondering what the hell we do with these people. Most of my spare time involves drinking and cursing! The brother-in-law sure likes violent movies, though. That always puzzles me about these extremist Christians. No sex or alcohol, but their god, watch them cheer over dead Iraqis!
Maybe I'll... um... get held up at work. For several days. :(
They already saw my "Massachusetts Liberal and Proud of It" bumper sticker. That was cool.
