to pass up!!!

(And it's from GOPUSA, no less, get your barf bags ready.)

For those who don't want to click on the link, I'll put a few pertinent paragraphs here, but basically this really deluded woman, possibly on drugs, wrote an article about how sexy republican men are and why.

Ok first, she thinks WOMEN read Playgirl magazine.

(That she thinks anyone reads Playgirl cracks me up.)

Secondly, the editor of Playgirl magazine, a woman, ran an article (pictoral) of repuke vs. Democratic men and apparently outed herself as a repuke when she wrote this (this is the editor of Playgirl, not the delusionoid who wrote the gopusa article): (my comments in italics)

"The Democrats of the Sixties were all about making love and not war while a war-loving Republican (um, blech}is a man who would fight, bleed, sacrifice, and die for his country. Could you imagine what that very same man would do for his wife in the bedroom? Um, punch her out, and then make himself bleed? They are some twisted sickos, aren't they? Those on the Right are presumed to be all about power and greed -- two really sexy traits in the bedroom.EEEEEHHHH?????? Note to this crazy woman: NO WOMAN WANTS A GREEDY MAN IN BED, OK? Nuff said. They want it, they want it now, and they'll do anything to get it. And I'm not talking about some pansy-assed victory; I'm talking about full on jackpot, satisfaction for all." -- Michelle Zipp, Editor of Playgirl magazine

Actually, from what my repuke neighbor has told me about her repuke husband, she described him very well. Not concerned about her at all, in quite a hurry. I'll stop there, lest I get this locked.

Well the gopusa woman hyperventilated over that and wrote an article on it:

Here are some especially delusional bits (it was hard to choose, believe me):

However, before any conservative has a canary, let me just note that the photos in Playgirl are attractive "eye candy" -- Gorgeous men are tastefully portrayed in a magazine specifically geared toward sophisticated young women. We're talking risque and scintillating, not hardcore. Frankly, I didn't even realize that Playgirl was still around. My last memory of PIaygirl involved its major publicity score during the eighties, when actor Burt Reynolds posed for the publication. How time flies! Playgirl magazine may not be for someone like me, but it obviously fulfills the fantasies of some young women.

(Didn't Burt Reynolds pose for Cosmo in the 70s? I never remember hearing about him posing for Playgirl in the 80s...)

Oh and her translation of the explanation as to why she was reading--GASP--Playgirl, is that it was for research, of course! And um, it's tasteful and all! And it's for SOPHISTICATED women! (Yeah, right, lady.)

She goes on to describe a pictorial she apparently enjoyed (ROFL!). And here are the last two paragraphs, the MOST delusional of all:

However, as a Republican woman I would like to clarify this point: Republican men - as terrific lovers - are not essentially motivated by "power and greed". It makes for great copy, but it's inaccurate. Republican men are in large part compelled by their love for Republican women, with whom they share a common vision and bond. Republican men -- who are more precisely mainstream conservatives that are imbued with core values - are incredibly brave and unselfish. How else can you explain Republican men as warriors, willing to place their lives on the line in this war on terror?

Who is joining the reserves, which account for more than forty percent of our forces in Iraq? Clearly, it's the mainstream conservatives who already have careers and families. I don't see many liberals out there fighting this war. This is an ideological conflict, and the majority currently in the military (or working alongside the military in Iraq) are Republican men and women. In fact, my niece is serving there now. The liberal Democratic men, who have done nothing but blame America and refuse to fight, are rather disgraceful. They're unconscionable wussies, and Republican women know enough to stay clear of this worthless bunch. Give me a Republican man anytime who is for the cause and understands what's at stake.

I've been laughing so hard my stomach hurts. Um, REPUBLICANS are joining the military??? REALLY??? Funny, I've been begging them to go fight their master's nasty little war and we still seem to have big gaps in enlistment numbers!

I had too much fun with this!
