23. No they failed to say "take your hands off the bed rail while
we push your bed into the delivery room."

Her head was already delivered, the nurse was freaking out, and she just rammed the bed through the doorway with my hands still on the rails and she was SO freaked out by it, that she attempted to SLAM against the bed to SHOVE IT ON THROUGH WITH MY FINGERS STILL THERE!

The nurse at the foot of the bed had her wits about her (I couldn't even breathe or speak at this point from the pain and remember, I have a HEAD BETWEEN MY LEGS). She yelled at the nurse on the other end "Back up! Back it up!" So they backed up, out popped my fingers, I held them in this time, and I croaked at the nurse "that's ONE way of getting me to forget the pain!"

I got to take a trip to x-ray after she was born. They swelled up and turned purple immediately and I could barely hold her when she was born.
