I guess someone called our band Assistant, and she went home to get a tv. We sat in the office during second hour jazz band watching the coverage. I was 15. We live an hour from downtown Oklahoma City in a town called Kingfisher. My mom and dad were sitting in the kitchen, and they felt the shockwave. Our front door rattled--TWICE. I'll never forget my dad so sad when he saw that those kids were hurt. And my grandmother lost her grandson, Steve Williams. He worked on the second floor in the Social Security Administration. He was one of the last ones found. SHe was never the same after that. Duckie
