Someone Told Me I Have A "Politically Correct" Cat

Uh, yeah....

She's a Maine Coon Tortise-Shell that adopted me when her previous owner threw her out in the neighborhood a few Februarys ago. Drop her on a forest floor and she'll disappear and never mind the cat hair.

Why am I congratulated on having a "Native American" Cat when it was her decision in the first place?
