Not necessarily because it's the best beer (it's damn good) but it's my favorite, everyday, keep around the house type beer. Even people who normally don't like beer like this beer...in fact everybody finds this beer pleasing.

2) Bridgeport IPA

Now THIS is my favorite beer...kinda citrussy at first, with a strong full-pallete attack of hops at the end.

3) Black Butte Porter

The milkshake of beers. This one's a meal in itself. Heavy, sweet & smooth. It's good to cook with as well.

4) Saxer Lager

Nice musty German-style lager that's light enough for everyday drinking.

5) Koestritser (sp)

Nice musty German-style lager with a big big flavor that'll knock you on yer ass.

6) Old Market Granny Smith Ale

Not appley at all. I was determined to hate this beer until I tried it.

the rest are more Portland microbrews - too many to describe - and 90% of them are excellent.
