uber capitalism. This legitimation through religion has been going on since the dawn of colonialism and imperialism. I think that Chrisitian Fundamentalism is a means that the powerful use to justify their rise (and use of) power. Their lust and greed hasn't allowed for them to stop and think about what affects they are having on the natural environment. The Eastern religions are contemplative of the natural environment around them. To bad Buddhism didn't become the dominant religion of our powerful country.
