23. I'd Insist! In Fact, A Quick Story
My wife and i frequent a mexican cuisine restaurant in a nearby town. We go there a lot and the whole staff and ownership treats us very nicely.

Well, they've got this outdoor patio (screened in to keep bugs of the food) and we were out there a few weeks ago. Just me, my wife and another couple at a different table. Faux News is on the TV out there. So, i just picked up the remote and changed the channel to CNN or MSNBC. (I forget which.) It was mostly Rita coverage.

About three minutes later, the manager/part owner comes out and picks up the remote and sets it on our table and says "Here Senor, put on whatever you want." I told him i already changed it because i don't do Faux News. He laughed and said "Me neither, really."

So, next time we go there (about 10 days later), he tells the busboy to get me the remote so i can put the TV on. He says "Don't just turn it on, Faux News might be on that channel, and he wouldn't be pleased!" We both laughed.

So, the message was sent, no hard feelings, and i don't have to watch Faux at my favorite Mexican joint.
