I am extremely lonely this morning.

It's not yet 9am where I live, yet I awoke this morning disheartened and seeking a spot of friendship. My husband had to leave for work early. I need to work at my desk today, completing a few projects I have going on at the moment.

Life seems... still. Unvivified. Incomplete. So much change has occured in my life over the summer. I have finally decided to take a new path in life - one less inundated with corporate or company bullshit and more utilizing what is between my ears. That has been difficult, and for a few dear friends, a bit of a shock. I've always have been a corporate woman, and now I hope to be an academic.

Why am I writing this here, and not in my journal this morning? Because I am lonely. I awoke to an empty house and will have little in the way of social interaction until my husband returns home.

Well, having said that, I wish everyone here a very good day.
