What I have learned
Advertisements [?]
I realized that on this day last year, I finally registered for DU, instead of just lurking and reading the Conservative idiots. And in that time (and over 6,000 posts--boy am I a motormouth) I realized I have learned alot of things.

I've learned what a freeper is.
I have learned that there are a lot of morans in this world.
I've learned there is a time to series!!11!! and a time to be funny.
I've learned that even though I'm Jewish thats no bar to being called Hitler! (or Snyder as the case may be....;-) )
I've learned that eating at the Olive Garden is a baaad thing.
And just recently I learned that Rick Astley is the incarnation of evil!

On the serious side, I have talked to a lot of very nice smart funny people who have different and interesting life experiences.
And even though it can be a bit maddening at times (which is why I try not to read/post in GD very often these days) I have become a DU junkie! So I just wanted to share with you all how much I have enjoyed my first year here...It's been a source of sanity in a very trying year in my life....
Thanks all!

:hi:
