49. Oh no no nooo...I am so sorry
I can't imagine what you must be going through right now, even though we lost our beautiful Bonnie last year. She developed an aggressive tumor that started at the base of her spine - at the time, it just looked like our kitty was having trouble walking. ginbarn and I didn't know if she had hurt herself or what had happened, so we took her to the vet where they took X-rays and checked her out thoroughly, and eventually they realized what was going on, and the vet even had evidence that the tumor was spreading up her spine towards her brain. There was no way that we could let her suffer - we had Bonnie put down on a sunny summer morning. During the trip to the vet, I opened up the sunroof so that Bonnie could get a great view of the sun and sky (she was a serious indoor cat). I stayed with Bonnie until the bitter end, and it damn near broke me psychologically.

I am seething at the lack of empathy from your family over Flash. Our furry friends really do mean the world to us. I don't know about you, but I hope the Rainbow Bridge is real.

ginbarn and I send our love and best wishes to you.
