I am so sick of getting WINTER STORM WARNING whenever we expect two or three inches of snow. This is Upstate New York, north of Syracuse and right in the snow belt. As a matter of fact, my house actually gets more snow than houses a mile north or south of here. My husband was out of town and asked me how much snow we'd had overnight. I told him not enough to bother with. When I went out and measured, it was 10".

Now the Weather Service needs to start letting us know when to expect a shit load of snow using the modified DU shit load standard.

Around here a shit load would be at least 24". In Atlanta, I imagine the MDUSL would be a minimum of 3" to 4"
