19. It's been my experience with more than one dog,
they do the 'lay around like nothing untoward occurred' as well. Three perfectly innocent looking dogs napping while a chunk of linoleum was ripped up. Same thing when the wainscoting trim was ripped off the wall. Same modus operandi when all the canned goods were removed from the lower shelves chewed open and eaten.... Trust me, it's not just cats. Your dog is just EXTREMELY sensitive. A week with The Damn Mutts, and your sensitive little Sheltie would be as corrupt as you could envision.
