Except the canned ones, and that's not even food. My native food was grits, red beans, and fried anything that swam, flew, ran, hopped, laid still, or wandered in front of a car. I gave up the fried dead things, but kept the grits and red beans (without the sausage).

So what do you use instead of butter? Or do you just leave it out?
