7. I agree. I think that's weird. I met John Kerry earlier this year during the primaries
when he was campaigning for Senator Obama. He comes from a very wealthy family, but was wearing a cheap blue blazer and a mediocre tie. I was surprised by that. If he was trying to appeal to "the common man", I for one, could have told him it wasn't necessary. I'm middle class, but when I buy business-wear, I get the best I can afford. It looks good and lasts longer than the cheap stuff.

Anyway, meeting Kerry was an honor. I was thrilled to have met somebody that I had voted for. And he was a great speaker for a smaller crowd (200 or so)...
