Even I gotta go easy with that shit, and I have a seriously high tolerance for heat when it comes to food. First time I tried Dave's I put what I thought was a modest amount on a steak. Not quite modest enough.... I literally couldn't breathe for about 30 seconds. And I swear it gets hotter just sitting in the refrigerator. About the last 1/3 of that bottle had concentrated itself to the point where it was impossible to pour on food directly. I had to pour it into a big kettle of chili in order to use it up.
For my every day hot sauce though, I go with the good old Red Rooster bottle........
