Is it wrong of me to ask my neighbors what was going on the other night?

An ambulance, a fire truck, and a rescue unit was at their house the night before last. My husband was coming home and came over the hill and thought something happened at my house with me and the baby. He just saw lights everywhere. He thought they were here. Anyway, we aren't close at all with these neighbors. We wave, and that is about it. My husband has talked to the man a couple of times. But that is about all of our contact.

Would we just be nosy? I am curious to know what happened. But I am concerned too. Would it be nosy to go over and ask if they are ok?
