27. There's STILL a Guess Who gigging? The one I opened for was in '91
and there were only 2 originals by then ( I think it was the rhythm section). I actually remember exactly what night it was, because it was the night of Kirby Puckett's 11th inning homerun in game 6 of the series.Huge Halloween party at Al Unser Jr's house of all things.... P.S. I see you're from Davenport, and either a blues player or at least fan. A dear, departed friend of mine ( who it turns out was also a dear friend of DUer guitarman , small world, huh?) used to play at the Davenport blues festival. Not sure if it was under his own name or as part of a band ( he was with Albert Collins, among others, for many years), but his name was Sam Franklin, and he played tenor sax. Just wondering if your paths ever crossed or if you ever saw him there. P.S. #2---I attended Knox College many years ago,right down I-74 from the Quad Cities,so attended school with a lot of kids from Rock Island, Davenport and a lot of towns around there.:hi:
