3. As a 20 yr old non-virgin
Edited on Mon Apr-05-04 02:29 AM by Fenris
I can say that in retrospect I am undecided as to whether or not I regret having sex. I lost my virginity to a girl I truly loved, but now, with my heart broken, I feel like I made a mistake. I know a lot of people around here will tell you that's crap, but to me, it's bothersome.

My point is that losing one's virginity is mental. It is only important in the capacity that you feel it is. Yes, your body desires to procreate. But the importance placed on when you first commit the act is a blight on our culture. Some people have sex at 13, some at 18, some at 30, and some never have sex at all. It doesn't really matter. Some people (like me, an atheist and nonbeliever in absolute truth or morality) would prefer to share the experience with someone they loved rather than someone they just wanted to fuck (vulgarity on purpose).

It's a double-edged sword. I've actually had a lot of sex (albeit with one person), but I understand now what a godsend and a curse sex is.

Girls your age a shallow and can be at times nauseating to be around. I suggest looking for someone a bit older, someone secure with who they are and well-adjusted.

And in the meantime, listen to Morrissey and be productive. There is someone out there for you. Stretch out and wait. That isn't to say don't try. Just take it easy, and be yourself.
