How does a Red Sox - Padres World Series sound?

The revamped Padres are in line to contend for the first time in 6 years. The additions of Brian Giles, David Wells, and Ramon Hernandez, along with a healthy Phil Nevin and Ryan Klesko could push the "Pads" into the post season for the first time since they won the NL pennant in 1998. Plus they have a beautiful, new, baseball only ballpark.

The Sox, I believe, have the best all around team in the AL and seem to have deep pockets to add more talent during the season if needed.

An East coast - West coast series would be a big hit.
