I'm sorry. It's a hypothetical question. I didn't realize it was going to bother people so much.

I only started thinking about this after coming across this link: http://oldeenglish.org/puppy.html

Basically I think the question is interesting because it just serves to illustrate how inconsistent people are... I mean, most people who are utterly horrified by this question have no qualms about eating chickens and cows and pigs and goats that have been bred in pretty inhumane conditions...
