I'm just arguing we leave a footprint no matter what we do. We should work to minimize that footprint, but also should do whats best for our own health.
White meat, eggs and milk are all healthy protein sources. Red meat, not so much so, but it has amino acid chains not found anywhere else in the food spectrum. Our body was built to be omnivourous, and part of the obesity epidemic results from an unbalanced diet.
