That the Rock Hall Of Fame is itself a travesty? Is it necessary? Does rock need sanction by some entity that is not accountable to us, the fans of the music? Don't the critics already fill that role? They are not needed either. Your piece shows that you can be your own critic, without outside help. So too, does that apply for this 'Hall Of Fame' idea.

I think you are wasting your energy. You do not need the sanction of the Rock Hall Of Fame for your favorite band. Neither does your favorite band.
