Dean has 6-point lead in Michigan [View All]

A new Epic/MRA poll suggests that Gov. Dean has opened a six-point lead in the race for the caucuses next year.

Dean: 21%
Clark: 15%
Kerry: 13%
Gephardt 13%
Liberman: 12%

everyone else is in single digits (the story didn't give there percentages)
Undecided: 12%

Michigan is a state which might use internet voting (this is under review at this time) and among internet users the Dean lead would swell to 11-points. Among voters who will come to the caucuses in person or vote by mail--Dean is tied for the lead (again the story, doesn't give any details of percentages in this case).

The last statewide poll in May had Dean as an also-run (in single digits) while Lieberman was leading the state with 27% (he has lost more than half his support since May). Gephardt was running a strong second with 19% and Kerry had 15%--not much changed.
