10. Really? In every backyard?
Just like Saint Amory predicted in 1976?

Who knew?

I'll check the EIA documents to see if molten solar toys have eliminated the electricl grid.

By the way, typical of anti-nukes who know very little about the technology they criticize, the idea that the molten salt nuclear reactor is "new" is about 50 years old, just like the rest of the hack stuff from the anti-nuke cult.

Alvin Weinberg operated the Molten Salt Reactor in the 1960's. It worked quite well, but was defunded, mostly because uranium was so cheap.

Now if you read the Gospel According to Amory - the fellow who said that electrical demand was going to go away because of all that solar stuff in everyone's backyard - you find that Amory quoted Weinberg in his hallucinatory paper on "The Road Not Taken."

In fact, the stuff he reproduced from Weinberg was the only stuff that wasn't as batshit crazy as the rest of the chants the fundie anti-nuke faith as been spouting since the Oracle at Snowmass delivered his gospel to the faithful.

Meanwhile back on planet earth, the MSR is included Gen IV program for the redevelopment. Apparently the planet is ignoring his Holiness' report that "nuclear power is dead."

In other news, John Paul II, apologized to Galileo, almost 400 years too late. Maybe one of the Greenpeace cult leaders in the 25th century - assuming that ignorance doesn't wipe out life on earth before then - will apologize to Weinberg. On the other hand, maybe Greenpeace will fade away long before nuclear power does.
