Newsday - Bush may execute two soldiers who rfused to go on mission

I just got the following in an e-mail message. The link to Newsday was no longer working. Is their any truth to this?

Newsday today speculated that the US military may actually be
considering reviving the long-discredited, barbaric policies of the
past which involved executing soliders who raise reasonable
objections to orders issued by incompetent commanders.

Newsday said Bush may execute two soldiers who recently refused to go
on a suicide mission in broken down vehicales with contaminated jet
fuel.

This is an outrage! These soldiers did nothing wrong! They actually
helped the military identify an important problem which has been
causing countless un-mnecessary US soldier deaths in Iraq!

There is no excuse for ANY of them to be harmed in any way! CALL THE
WHITE HOUSE and DEMAND that Bush intervene on behalf of these
soldiers! He OWES them a pardon because it was BUSH'S incompetent
planning which caused this situation in the first place!

These people did not commit "mutiny", they acted as patriots by
telling the military that the mission they were asked to go on would
undermine the military's efforts in iraq!

The military's old and outdated, irrelevant policies of the past
which reward incompetent commanders and punish smart and decisive
soldiers- are policies which need to be changed, and they need to be
changed BEFORE NOVEMBER 2ND while the pressure is still on Bush to
avoid angering the public!

SPREAD THIS MESSAGE FAR AND WIDE AND BOMBARD THE WHITE HOUSE WITH
PHONE CALLS AND LETTERS- THESE SOLDIER'S LIVES ARE AT STAKE!

If we wait even ONE DAY, it may be TOO LATE!
