The Big Boot of Government - More on Bush’s Appalling Budget Cuts
Advertisements [?]
The new budget is so very ugly...

(snip)
Is there no end to the take from poor mentality of the Bush administration? Evidently not.

So far it appears that almost every cut some how affects the low-income citizens of this country. And they say that they have more “values” than we do! I find these budget cuts to be appalling, absolutely appalling.

AP News is reporting that the “budget will propose slashing grants to local law enforcement agencies and cutting spending for environmental protection, American Indian schools and home-heating aid for the poor.”

(snip)
In the 21st century when we should be lifting people up out of poverty, Bush is creating more and more poverty daily and making it more difficult for those who are low-income to survive on a day to day basis. What does this say to the children of low-income families that strive to teach their children that you can have a better life? It says, you are under my boot, the big boot of government and you are meaningless, that’s what it says.
