6. fourtunately in Mass...
We have 2 major newspapers. One is considered more liberal, one is considered more conservative. Neither hide thier "biased" positions because they know there is a venue that will bring opposing points to thier columns easily accessible to the mainstream public. Not alot of communities have that sort of balance in thier local papers. Most papers simply reflect the issues and voting trends of the people in that area. Don't expect to see a liberal column written in a predominantly conservative city or state. Just doesn't happen.
