Clark Plans to Stay at Forefront of Debate
Wesley Clark Says He Plans to 'Stay at Forefront' of National Debate and Revamps His Web Site

The Associated Press
Mar. 16, 2005 - Wesley Clark told supporters Wednesday that he's launched a redesigned Web site for his political action committee and plans to "stay at the forefront of the national debate."
The retired four-star general was one of several Democrats who ran for president in 2004. He abandoned the race in early February of that year after two third-place finishes in Southern states.

Clark, 60, entered the presidential race in September 2003 and quickly rose to the top of polls of Democrats and others interested in voting for an alternative to Bush. He skipped the Iowa caucuses, a move some considered a mistake.

Clark relied heavily on experience gained from 34 years in military service, which included serving as supreme allied commander of NATO.
