IMO, there are compelling reasons to keep a death row inmate alive if his guilt is indeed in doubt. Just as compelling, if not more so. Just as the Schiavos think they can drag this out forever because THEY know something WE don't, why can't they say the same thing about a death row inmate? If he swears he didn't do it, and wants to get a DNA test to exonerate him, he should be able to drag the case out forever and ever. After all, as the Schiavos are quick to point out, death is final. No going back. It's just as final for a death row inmate.
