Seems that Ann is as guilty as the rest of the zealots, they read the headlines, make a decision based on feelings, and then refuse to delve any deeper in the situation.

You point out the repercussions from the President ignoring the order simply was out of Ann's reality...... but then again 9 Indian's being slaughtered in MN even today doesn't bring much notice of an American President.
